A10 Architects were appointed by the property owner to carry out several works at the C listed residential property which has the Antonine Wall running under the building which was evident through the uneven solum.  The works included full internal refurbishment internally providing additional ensuite, larger kitchen and replacement of period features. Externally refurbishment was required due to poor maintenance, including reroofing, replacement of timber and refurbishment of windows.  Externally inappropriate fittings which had been used were replaced with items more suitable for the listing of the building.
